Converting a boat to off grid is not a concept practical for many boat owners, examples are( weekend users, marina live aboards or your aristocratic yachtsman individuals...) at the same time there is a misconception that having an off grid setup will save you money in the long run. the truth we found is that most likely you will break even "at best". having said this, off grid living will enable you to:
1. extend your fuel dock refilling trips from once per week to about once per month.
2. by extending fuel run periods you essentially extend cruising range considerably.
3. most important in our opinion is that it can be a redundant emergency lifeline support.
